Terms of use

Updated 13 October 2026

These terms cover use of the Leitura information website and its enquiry tools. They distinguish reading and stationery guidance from the details of an actual purchase, which must be established for that transaction.

1. Operator and scope

LEITURA SP MARKET LIVRARIA E PAPELARIA LTDA is the business identified by this site. Its Brazilian company details are displayed on the About page and in the footer. The English-language presentation helps explain the business and enquiry process; it does not state that the company has premises in the United States or that every product can be supplied internationally. These terms address the pages and functions presented here. They do not replace a purchase receipt, accepted quotation or other terms validly agreed for a specific transaction.

2. Using the pages responsibly

You may browse the descriptions, compare the general selection considerations and use the enquiry form for a relevant request. Do not attempt to damage the site, disrupt availability, introduce harmful code, impersonate another person or use the form to harass recipients. Automated access must not interfere with ordinary use or bypass technical restrictions. If a feature fails, that failure does not grant permission to access protected systems. Report a reproducible problem with the page address and a concise description, excluding private credentials and unrelated information.

3. Category guidance is not an inventory list

The books and stationery pages describe common ways to choose an edition, reading format, notebook or writing item. A category description is not confirmation that every example is held in stock. A photograph illustrates its stated subject and does not establish availability of the titles, brands or objects pictured. Check the exact item, edition, quantity and current availability before relying on a choice. A title alone may not identify the required book: language, publisher, year, format and ISBN can distinguish versions that have similar names.

4. Prices and practical purchase details

No price list or payment checkout is provided by these pages. Where a later quotation or offer is made, confirm the amount, currency, included items, taxes or other charges where relevant, and any collection or delivery arrangements. An English domain name does not determine the currency or geographical scope of an eventual transaction. Availability, order acceptance and timing depend on the actual arrangement. Do not infer a reservation, shipping commitment or promised completion date from a general category page, a browser-generated draft or the absence of a displayed price.

5. What the enquiry tool does

The form prepares an editable email draft with the details that you enter. You review the text and choose whether to open your own email application. Preparing the draft does not send a message, charge a payment method, reserve an item or form a purchase agreement. Opening an email application likewise does not prove that the message was sent or received. If a request is time-sensitive, obtain confirmation through an available verified channel rather than relying solely on a browser action or a stored draft.

6. Agreeing on a transaction separately

An enquiry may lead to a separate discussion about a particular book or stationery item. Before committing, establish the contracting party, accurate product description, applicable price and currency, availability, fulfilment arrangements and any cancellation or return conditions. Keep the written information relevant to the purchase. Neither the company registration shown in the footer nor a suggested category should be read as automatic acceptance of an order. Mandatory consumer protections and specific commitments that apply to an actual offer continue to operate according to the relevant law and agreement.

7. Your information and selection decisions

Provide accurate contact details and describe the item or intended use clearly enough to avoid confusion. Check the draft before sending it, especially a book’s ISBN, an edition requirement or dimensions needed for stationery. For a school or institutional requirement, compare the supplied specification with any proposed alternative before agreeing to a substitution. You remain responsible for deciding whether to share personal or organisational information through ordinary email. The Privacy policy explains the distinction between information entered locally and correspondence actually sent through your chosen communication service.

8. Editorial material and intellectual property

The original page copy and visual arrangement, licensed photographs and font software may be protected by intellectual-property rights. Reading the website does not grant a right to reproduce third-party books, covers, photographs or typeface software outside their applicable permissions. Descriptive references to book formats or writing tools do not establish endorsement by a publisher or manufacturer. If you need to reuse material, identify the exact work and the proposed use so that the relevant rights can be considered. The lawful rights of owners and users remain intact.

9. External applications and delivery providers

Your browser, email client, network connection and any services involved in delivering the site have their own operating conditions. Activating a mail link can pass the prepared message to the application selected on your device. Check the recipient and content in that application before sending. Delivery-network features may change the technical form of a served page, for example by protecting an email address. These circumstances do not establish that an external provider sells the books or stationery, or that the business controls all features of your device or email account.

10. Corrections, availability and proportionate limits

Information can require correction, and a page can be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, network conditions or browser problems. If you notice a confusing description or technical error, identify the page and the relevant wording. General reading and paper-selection guidance cannot anticipate every personal preference or product specification. These practical limitations do not exclude responsibility where exclusion is unlawful, remove applicable consumer remedies or override an express commitment. Nothing here treats a technical fault as proof that an enquiry succeeded, a purchase was accepted or an item was reserved.

11. Changes, questions and applicable protections

The date shown on this document identifies its current version. Website terms may change when content or functions change, while an earlier transaction remains governed by the valid terms and mandatory rules relevant to it. If wording matters to a decision, retain the applicable description and ask for clarification before committing. Use the Contact page for a question about these terms, permissions or a correction. This document does not impose a new arbitration procedure, select an unsupported foreign forum or restrict a right that applicable law makes mandatory.
